Information from Other Homeschooling Families
Our vision for this site is as a place where local homeschooling families can share their own personal experiences with other homeschooling families.
Let's face it, homeschooling is hard. And, it's complicated. There are so many curriculums, and a mulitplicity of directions that homeschool can go. There's no question that it leaves those of us who have been doing it for years overwhelmed by the possibilities, so we can only imagine how frustrated anyone who is contemplating starting homeschool must be. Therefore, we want to use this site as a place where homeschooling families can share their own experiences so that other homeschooling families can gleen from that knowledge. Some things may not apply to everyone. And, that's okay. Because it is likely that it might help someone.
To submit information for this section, please read our submission guidelines, and then, simply use the "Submission Form" under "Contact". For security reasons, we do screen submissions before we post them. And, we only post things that will benefit the homeschooling community.
When you submit your information, please let us know if we can post your name. We're a big homeschooling family here in Garrett County, so posting the name as well makes it a little more personal. However, you do not have to have your name posted. But, you do need to let us know who you are for our records and that you don't want it posted. Additionally, submissions must come from adults only due to CIPA regulations, and we cannot post full names for children under the age of 18. We also cannot post contact information for individuals.
In addition, we will add information to this section when we find out about things that other homeschooling families have done in the community.
